Accommodation in County Wicklow
Our stay at Avon Ri is always excellent.
As the Christmas period is very busy for all concerned we like to have our get together around the second or third week in January.
Members of our group come from all corners of Ireland and our numbers tend to vary each year to somewhere between forty and fifty people. This year we booked seven houses and sat down for forty four meals.
Because of the numbers traveling to our event it is important that the facility is flexible and Avon Ri is certainly that. We have been going to Avon Ri for the last four years and I am personally involved in the booking of the venue. I have to say that Avon Ri are very professional and well organised. They are in touch with me months before our arrival date which helps me to get things organised nice and early, they also help with menu choice and costings which makes my life so much easier.
The staff at Avon Ri are extremely helpful, hard working, polite, and always give a smile. I would have no hesitation in recommending Avon Ri to anyone considering a short break or a holiday, in fact we are looking forward to next year already.

Just a note to say thank you for a wonderful weekend. Myself and my boyfriend spent 3 nights at Avon Ri last weekend and it was the most relaxing weekend we've had in a long time. The house was beautifully decorated, our bedroom had stunning views of the lake and we had everything we needed. I have been telling everyone about Avon Ri and hope to return in the new year. Many thanks to Siobhan in reservations who booked us in at the last minute. She was extremely helpful and a credit to Avon Ri.

We just want to say the biggest Thank You for doing such an amazing job. I'm sure everyone enjoys their big day but yesterday was truly magical.We knew when we picked Avon Ri that we would have a spectacular setting but when we saw the marquee set up it blew us away. From our beautiful ceremony in the Russborough Suite to watching the sun setting on the lake while we ate dinner and rocking the dance floor til the early hours we just loved every minute. You guys were so warm so accommodating and so professional it gave us just the kind of day we wanted: relaxed and enjoyable! All the guests raved about the setting and the food ( I still can't believe that the dishes we had at our tasting were just as good when you did them for 160 people).
Can't wait to see all the gorgeous pics with the scenery in the background. We'll be back to see you long before our 1st Anniversary dinner.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for an excellent day out last October. Our branch attended one of your activity days and enjoyed it immensely. Both the active and less active members of the team had a great time as all tasks and challenges were geared towards their individual abilities and capabilities. The craic and banter were on-going throughout the day as group participation, fun and enjoyment was encouraged by your staff who stayed with us for the day. I really felt the water sports, orienteering and activity courses with the ropes led to us achieving our aim which was ENHANCING TEAMWORK and MORALE within the branch.Finally I think the greatest compliment I can give the resort is that when I went home to my children and told them about the day they wanted to attend themselves.We, as a family, attended last week and stayed for 3 days in the chalets which was like home from home .(very spacious and luxurious with all needs catered for) Again all activities were geared to their abilities and the staff took plenty of time to explain the tasks.This time round we got to use the pool facilities and ate in the restaurant. Again I have only got good things to say.The facilities and staff in the Avon Ri are credit to you and we look forward to seeing them all again next year.Please pass on my thanks to everyone who looked after us in the last few weeks.
